Founded in 2004, Manage-ment is unrivaled in representing writers and directors at the highest levels in entertainment. On the television side, Manage-ment clients have written, directed and produced for numerous award winning and critically acclaimed shows such as THE AMERICANS, THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL, MAD MEN, THE LEFTOVERS, BREAKING BAD, GOOD GIRLS REVOLT, HOUSE OF CARDS, BERLIN STATION, NARCOS, THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE, HALT AND CATCH FIRE, MOZART IN THE JUNGLE and many more. On the film side, Manage-ment clients are known for writing and directing a number of high profile features, from Academy Award-winning independent films like MOONLIGHT and BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD to blockbusters like THOR: RAGNAROK and TWILIGHT. Manage-ment’s roster also includes the writers of a number of Pulitzer, Tony and Obie-winning Playwrights including Lynn Nottage, Jon Robin Baitz and Lucy Thurber.
DAN HALSTED
Dan Halsted stands in a unique place within the entertainment industry. His career has encompassed all aspects of the Hollywood business, from running a major Hollywood studio to producing both successful blockbusters and critical independent hits, to starting one of the top five talent agencies. After almost 30 years in the industry, Dan Halsted has incorporated the cumulative wealth of his diverse experience and expertise into his own company, Manage-ment – an agile organization that integrates talent management, development, production and financing. He began his career assisting Scott Rudin before exploring new terrain as an agent at United Talent Agency. Here he directed his propensity for packaging projects into a diverse roster of both critical and commercial successes, such as THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY, NEW JACK CITY, THE FABULOUS BAKER BOYS, ROBOCOP and THE UNTOUCHABLES.
Later as executive VP at Hollywood Pictures working with Jeffrey Katzenberg, Michael Eisner, Dan confirmed his position as a dedicated shepherd of projects, closely guiding the development of THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE, TOMBSTONE, EVITA, MR HOLLAND’S OPUS, ENCINO MAN, SON IN LAW and WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING.
In partnership with Oscar-winning filmmaker Oliver Stone for many years, Dan produced many important and interesting projects such as multi Oscar nominated NIXON, U TURN and ANY GIVEN SUNDAY. On his own he produced S.W.A.T., THE VIRGIN SUICIDES and GARDEN STATE, which became an indie film sensation and whose soundtrack went triple platinum. His TV work includes THE DAY REAGAN WAS SHOT, WITCHBLADE and Sofia Coppola’s TV debut PLATINUM.
After many years in the industry, Dan married his skills as a creative professional with his shrewd business sensibility and formed Manage-ment.
NATE MILLER
Nate Miller has been with Manage-ment for the last nine years. His clients have recently staffed on The Chi, Locke & Key, American Gods, Nightflyers, Titans, Homecoming and Seven Seconds and have set up producing projects at AMC, Showtime, FX, Amazon, YouTube Premium, TBS and USA. With a client roster that includes authors and journalists, Miller has also optioned IP to a number of major networks and studios including Legendary, MRC, CBS, Lionsgate, Big Beach and Studio 8. He holds a degree in screenwriting.
CORINNE HAYOUN
Corinne Hayoun has been the head of Manage-ment’s New York office for the past three years, after spending eight years as a theatre agent at CAA. Her clients have set up projects at Disney, Warner Brothers, Fox Searchlight, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, OWN and CBS and have recently staffed on Black Lightning, 13 Reasons Why, The Sinner, HOMECOMING, and NOS4A2. She was a co-producer on the hit Broadway play AN ACT OF GOD starring Jim Parsons, and is a board member of The Lilly Awards Foundation, which is dedicated to developing and celebrating female artists by promoting gender parity at all levels of theatrical production.
CHARLIE KELSEY
Charlie Kelsey is a coordinator in Manage-ment’s Los Angeles office, with a focus on finding and developing young, up-and-coming writers with unique voices. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
IAN MORROW
Ian is a coordinator in Manage-ment’s Los Angeles office. In his spare time, he works with UCLA School of Theatre Film & Television as an Industry Panelist for the Television Producer Program as well as Columbia University’s annual ScriptConnect program as a mentor/ advisor.
